A sea salt with delicate light crunch recommended for steak, grilled lamb cutlets.

Seawater is extracted from the majestic trench of the Lombok Strait connecting the Java Sea to the Indian Ocean and the salt held within is produced on the volcanic black sand of the eastern shore of Bali, under the shadow of Gunung Agung stratovolcano. The resulting coarse, uniquely hollow crystals are a natural phenomenon but when asked how and why they form in this amazing way the local maker's simple reply comes, "Taksu"... by the hand of God.
