We are Poco Nido, an award winning British baby and children’s brand with a deep-rooted love of colour and pattern.
We produce products that are simple and functional, nestling inside packaging that does more than one job.
Poco Nido was founded in August 2011, in Sheffield by Catherine Lobley, footwear designer and mother of two. Our journey began when, tired of the identikit leather pull ons available, Catherine decided to go in search of an alternative. When this alternative was nowhere to be found, Catherine decided to produce it herself.
The Mini Shoe was born.
We don't buy into convention or commercial, we like quirky and colour. We don't follow the trends, what you see comes straight out of our heads. Our products are the result of years of overseas travel, countless children's bedtime stories, a love of pattern, symmetry, a hatred of over packaging, a passion for up-cycling and frustration with fastenings.

What we've got....
Our Mini Shoes are the perfect combination of barefoot and shoe, allowing foot to ground contact with a little natural protection. The suede sole provides a hardy non-slip surface, which moves with your baby's foot. All mini shoes come cleverly packaged in a cardboard tube box which can be up cycled into an owl money box with the help of the craft and colouring sheet inside.
The wellies are 100% rubber, making them naturally flexible, durable and warm, they will not crack or split like their PVC cousins, ankle height for easy self dressing and maximum manouverability, they come packaged in a reusable cotton bag.
Our Sneakers are for all your bigger little ones, perfect for the next steps. Your kids will rock these sneakers. All styles are easy for little fingers to put on, even the hi-top boot comes with a zip. Our favourite is the plimsol, a reminder of school P.E. lessons back in the 80s, but reinvented for the kids of today.
