13 years of making gifts that actually mean something — designed by hand in Yorkshire by a small family business who still loves every order.

Hi, I'm Kathryn, although we have been on Not on the High Street for 20 years we started creating personalised gifts in 2013. We started with a small laser engraving machine and have built that up to be able to create printed items and embroidered products.

Back then, I had a simple belief: the gifts people treasure most aren't the expensive ones. They're the ones that show someone paid attention. That they knew the recipient's name, their family, their sense of humour, the thing they always say. Our job is to turn that knowledge into something you can wrap up and hand over.

Two decades on, it's still a family business. We're still based in Yorkshire.

What makes us different from the thousands of other personalised gift sellers out there? Honestly, it comes down to these things.

First, the design. Every product starts as an original illustration or layout — we don't use stock clip art or generic templates. If it has a quirky phrase on it, we wrote that phrase. That means our catalogue has a consistent visual identity that you won't find replicated on another seller's page.

Second, the obsession with fit. We think hard about whether a gift works for the recipient — not just whether it looks pretty in a product photo. Our listings tell you clearly who a piece is right for, what occasions it suits, and what information you'll need to have ready when you order. No nasty surprises at checkout.

We've been on Not On The High Street since 2006, which means we've been trusted by this platform and its customers for a long time. We've made gifts for newborns and for 100th birthdays. For weddings with 200 guests and for anniversaries where the couple wanted something just for themselves. For people who knew exactly what they wanted and for people who just typed "I have no idea what to get my dad" into a search bar and found us.

From your words to a finished piece — here's what happens after you place your order.

Once your order comes in, we prepare your personalisation details and set up the artwork for your specific piece. We use professional laser-cutting and printing equipment to cut, engrave or print each item individually — there's no batch-printing or automated line here. Each piece is checked for quality, carefully packaged to survive the journey. We aim to despatch within 3 working days, and most UK orders arrive within 5 days of ordering. If you ever have a question about your order — before, during, or after — you'll get a reply from an actual member of our family, not a support bot.
