At one of the most prestigious tanneries, our western cowhides are naturally tanned using tannins derived from vegetables or trees. We champion vegetable-tanning because this traditional and environmentally-friendly process results in a leather with a rich, warm finish. It will also only improve with use, developing a unique patina over time.
