About this product

Description

This feast of nostalgia is a celebration of the world that shaped the recipient. It explores the foods they ate, the hairstyles they experimented with and the clothes they regret. It recalls their time in the school playground, the music they listened to, the games they played, the movies they saw, the cars they travelled in, the cutting-edge technology of the day and the TV they watched.

Every page is packed full of memories and personalised details, from the day they were born, throughout their childhood and into the all-important teenage years.

Variations

Each unique book is created using our state of the art software. All we need from you is a name and a date of birth. We will create a book that tells them incredible facts about themselves, including the day of the week they were born on, what time the sun rose and set on their first day, their birth flower, birth stone and birth tree, their Chinese New Year animal and their star sign.

The book will tell them the major news events from the year they were born, how much things cost, and how much people earned. The film stars and pop stars that they share a birth year with, and the number one song and album on the day they were born.

Made from

And there's more! This book will even tell them incredible facts, like how many times their hearts have beaten, how many hours they have spent sleeping/eating/on the toilet, even how much wee and poo they have done! How many times they have yawned and broken wind, right down to how many months/weeks/days and hours they have been alive.

The book is full of funny recollections about the UK in the 70s and 80s. The 44 pages are all hand illustrated by our incredible team and feature references to the recipient's name and each subject is tackled in an original and entertaining way, including a retro TV listings guide, a gamers snakes and ladders board, a very colourful washing line and even a huge car scrapheap!

This is a truly unique, hilarious, one of a kind gift to be shared and treasured for a lifetime.

Proudly designed in Devon, UK.

'Memory Lane' is created by award-winning authors Steve Wilson and Lucy Tapper, and illustrated by Lucy whose unique style of sentimental drawings, mixed with fabric patterns, creates a whimsical and memorable book.
