A British take on the latest US 'hard seltzer' craze

Wondering what all this ‘hard seltzer’ fuss is about? Don’t worry – you’re not alone. We’d never even heard of this new drinks concept until a chance trip to the US in 2019 – when we saw how massive this new drink really was. But what are they?

Simply put – hard seltzers are flavoured alcoholic sparkling water, and we absolutely loved what we had discovered. Unlike a sugary cocktail or an uninspiring ‘gin in a tin’, hard seltzers were light, refreshing and full of flavour. Just the thing we’d been looking to drink, but most were filled with artificial ingredients and fake flavours.

So we decided to quit our 9-5 jobs, and take a ‘long shot’ on our new idea, by creating our range of award-winning hard seltzers that worked for the UK market.

All-natural Hard Seltzers championing classic British flavours

Utilizing locally-grown UK ingredients and using only all-natural fruit juices for our flavours (never anything artificial) Long Shot offers that lighter option for the UK drinker. Not fazed by a tricky launch period (thanks Covid), we launched in May 2020, to bring something new to a more discerning generation – who still want to have a drink, but feel less of the guilt.

All our drinks are under 70 calories and cater to a wide range of dietary and health-conscious diets – being vegan, gluten-free, keto-friendly and low sugar.
