The way we achieve our goal of personally creating individual handcrafted pieces at affordable prices is to have become experts in a manufacturing process that is incredibly efficient, ecological and low waste. We have been fine tuning our process since 2012 and through copious amounts of trial and error we have found a technique that really works for our design process.

Steam bending a product into its complete, finished form eliminates the need for any unpleasant glues or fixtures. There is therefore no need for separate pieces to be glued together or nail/screwed into place. The piece of wood in it's steam-bent form is the complete finished item. Steam bending is a low energy, ecological technique.

Quality is never an accident, it is always the result of intelligent effort. Myles & Madeleine both come from a design background and prioritise the design & function of their products.
