Knit up this slouchy cardigan yourself with this beginners knitting kit. With an added pocket & wooden buttons, it will quickly become your new favourite!
** Due to current circumstances, our knitting needles are currently low on stock so any orders of kits with needles included may be delayed. Our suppliers are working hard to get them to us, but we are unable to give a time frame on this. If you would like to order your kit without needles it will be despatched much quicker – a quick search on both Ebay and Amazon bring up plenty of 12mm needles that are available to order so you could source them elsewhere.**
This slouchy cardigan will become one of your main fashion staples taking you from Spring through to Winter - wear to keep warm on a summers evening or stay toasty during the winter months. Made in beautiful 100% merino wool, which is the softest kind of wool, this cardigan is sure to make a style statement wherever you go. Everything you need to make this cardigan is included in this knitting kit. Choose from a wide range of colours and if you don't have them already, add needles to the kit too.

With simple to follow instructions and everything you need included, you can start knitting this cardigan as soon as the kit arrives through the door!
It should take about 15-20 hours to complete the cardigan (depending on your knitting speed) and it is suitable for beginners and experienced knitters alike.
Stitches required are Knit, Purl and some basic shaping (K2tog)
This knitting kit is perfect for beginners and within a matter of hours you can create your very own chunky stylish cardigan! You'll become so hooked on knitting this cardigan that you'll be wanting to knit one up in every colour!
This cardigan is a reworking of our most popular design but shorter, slouchier and with the options of an added pocket and wooden buttons. It uses a combination of knit and purl stitches, and should take around 10hours to complete (although it may take longer if you are a complete beginner)
Choose from 3 x sizes in the kit - Small fits UK 6-12, Medium fits UK 12-18 and Large fits UK 18-24. However, depending on how you like to wear your knitwear the sizes are pretty adaptable. For example, if you’d like it slouchy you can size up (see images: I’m a size 8-10 and the Lilac cardigan pictured is a Small, the fuchsia cardigan is a Medium. I personally prefer the fit of the Medium. Helen is a size 16 and wears the Fuchsia Medium and has also made a Large that is lovely and slouchy that she prefers the size of.) So once you’ve checked your tension, we recommend measuring one of your existing tops to see how it compares before you decide which size to knit (measurements below)
Your kit comes beautifully packaged in one of our environmentally friendly LAD bags. Perfect for keeping your knitting project all in one place and once you finish your knitting you can then use your bag to store and organise toys, accessories or use as a travel bag.
