Finely crafted heirloom jewellery
A graduate of the Glasgow School of Art Katie is a designer maker whose unique style is defined by the perhaps incongruous concept of creating finely crafted jewellery of silver, gold and precious stones, from the heavy industrial aesthetic of the shipbuilding history that has moulded her home city of Glasgow. Katie has been designing collections and bespoke commission pieces for 5 years and perfected her skills whilst taking on apprenticeships with trade jewellers. Katie has produced four collections TRUSS/ CABLE/ TRILLIANT and soon to be released HEIRLOOM.
The brilliance of the 'Heirloom' collection is that is combines fresh designs, using classic and traditional setting techniques, a skill Katie honed over many years. Using trilliant settings often, this resilts in geometric, bold shapes coming into play, catering for the alternative bride, or indeed creating family treasures to be cherished for years to come.
Katie welomes questions and loves helping to create something unique and special to everyone, and indeed something that you cannot get anywhere on the highstreet.
