Alpine Rose Hand Embroidered Cushion

Jan Constantine's beautifully hand-embroidered floral alpine cushion.

This lovely Alpine Rose cushion in duck egg blue felt wool is appliquéd and delicately hand embroidered with a felt heart surrounded by an exquisite floral bouquet of a rose, cream edelweiss and blue mountain flora, all hand worked in blanket stitch and French knots. It is inspired by the beautiful flowers on the Alpine mountain slopes in springtime and it perfectly compliments the other Alpine pieces. The edges of the cushion are blanket stitched with contrasting thread and it opens on the back with 2 mother of pearl buttons.
