This is a fair-trade product handmade with recycled aluminium from the ring pulls of discarded drink cans weaved together to form a decorative belt.
In purchasing this product you are making a real difference to some of the poorest and disadvantaged people of the Philippine’s, providing a valued and sustainable source of income for the local women who make the products. The Purple Community Fund who set up this project, provide multiple health and education programmes using money made from the sales of these items, benefitting hundreds of people and their families, now working in safe healthy environments making these artisan products.
