Each Glover and Smith design is handmade from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter). Because we use solid metal the surface of your Starfish brooch will never flake like a silver plated brooch. To clean just wash with warm soapy water. All our designs are made exclusively by us in Wiltshire.
