All Glover and Smith designs are made from solid polished lead-free pewter which is non-tarnishing (that was the lead in old pewter). Our 95% tin Pewter is the fourth most expensive metal in common use after platinum, gold and silver. Because we use solid metal the surface of your anniversary box will never flake like a silver plated one. To clean just wash with warm soapy water. Our Anniversary keepsake box is 5 cm (2”) in diameter and is packaged in an organza pouch. However, if you select gift wrapping, the heart box will come in a gift wrapped presentation box.
