Get behind the wheel of two of the most renowned drift cars, head to head for the ultimate shoot out.

Drifting an MX-5 is a brilliant way to understand the basics of drifting and car control. Their lightweight body’s are perfect for getting the back end out and learning to control the slide.

Next, The BMW E90 Drift Taxi – easy to spin up the rear wheels and initiate the drift. The long wheel base chassis aids the driver while transitioning the slide making it the perfect car to learn how to drift. The driving progression from Mazda to BMW should cement your drifting ability and build an understanding of two very different vehicle set-ups

Variations

Experience Includes:

All experiences start with a friendly welcome briefing – covering safety, track etiquette, racing lines and performance driving techniques, giving the drivers an opportunity to ask questions about their experience. Next, drivers are given 3 increasingly paced passenger sighting laps to demonstrate techniques from the briefing before finishing with a full-pace high speed lap to get the pulse racing.

From there on the drivers will receive 1:1 instruction from our outgoing, expert instructors to help develop technique and building pace lap after lap.

  • 30 Minute Introductory Briefing: Covering drift lines, throttle / braking technique and track day safety etiquette.
  • 4 x Sighting Laps including 1 fully sideways high speed passenger lap in our BMW E90 Drift Taxi.
  • Run the wall and drift around the ultimate street derived course featuring a series of Japanese Zen Garden Roundabouts.
  • 4 x drift laps in the Mazda Mx-5 NB
  • 4 x drift laps in the BMW Drift Taxi

350z Upgrade:

Upgrade your Mazda MX-5 to the Nissan 350z. Featuring in films like Tokyo Drift, the 350z has become many driver’s dream drift car. Their incredibly powerful 3.5l v6 makes getting a slide going very easy, especially on our wet track – making you feel like a real pro. Thanks to the increase in power and longer wheel base the 350z is much more forgiving than the mx5 which allows you to understand the basics of holding a beautiful looking drift.
