What is Gold Filled Jewellery?
Gold filled items are perfect if you're looking for a material that is a much higher quality than gold plated, but an affordable alternative to solid gold.
A thick layer of 14k gold is bonded with heat and pressure to a core of jeweller's brass. It is a beautiful alternative to solid gold and has the look and feel of 14K gold jewellery, containing much more real gold than plated pieces.
Unlike gold plated, gold filled can last a lifetime if taken care of properly, and isn't affected by water or hot weather. It is also tarnish-free under normal conditions
