Clara and Macy is a small family-run British brand creating thoughtful gifts, keepsakes and Christmas treasures that celebrate childhood, family connection and a little bit of everyday magic.

I started Clara and Macy in 2012, after spending ten years working as a puppet maker in animation. I’d been lucky enough to help bring other people’s characters and stories to life, but somewhere along the way I began dreaming about creating something of my own.

It started with two little characters called Clara and Macy.

They were two girls who loved spending time together, making things, and finding adventure in the everyday. I imagined they might one day belong in a picture book, so I began designing a few products around their world before approaching publishers.

Except those few products became a collection. The collection became a business. And somehow, I never did get around to contacting the publishers!

More than a decade later, Clara and Macy has grown into something I could never have imagined back then.

Today, everything is designed by me in our Cheshire studio, with most of our products carefully made and finished by hand. We create gifts and keepsakes for the moments families want to hold onto: childhood adventures, little family rituals, new babies, bedtime stories, celebrations and, most especially, Christmas.

As a mum of four, family life has shaped Clara and Macy enormously. So many ideas have begun with something I wanted to create for my own children, or a moment I wished I could bottle up and keep.

Because childhood passes extraordinarily quickly.

We believe the smallest things often become the biggest memories: a story read together at bedtime, an adventure chosen from a little wooden token, a handwritten note kept safely away, or a favourite Christmas decoration unwrapped from tissue paper every December.

Our products are designed to make space for more of those moments.

Christmas has become a particularly special part of the Clara and Macy world. I’ve always loved the nostalgia and traditions surrounding it: treasured Christmas decorations, moments that become memories, handwritten letters, old-fashioned details, and your favourite traditions repeated year after year.

Our Christmas collections are designed with that same sense of nostalgia.

We create Christmas decorations, keepsake gifts, and family traditions that feel as though they already have a story behind them. Made to become part of your family Christmas, brought out each December and treasured for many years to come.

Across everything we make, you’ll find a love of beautiful details, traditional craftsmanship, storytelling, and thoughtful design.

We choose our materials carefully, keep our products and packaging as environmentally responsible as possible, and believe that the things we bring into our homes should be made to be loved, used, kept, and then handed down to the next generation.

After all these years, the heart of Clara and Macy is still wonderfully simple.

We want to help families spend time together, celebrate the magic of childhood, and create Christmas traditions and memories that last long after the moment itself has passed.

Everything begins here in our little studio in Altrincham, Cheshire, before making its way from our family to yours.
