Each Shrew is designed and handmade to order just for you with love in London, a true artisan, Vicky personally softly felts the wool which comes from Yorkshire. All of this time and care is taken in order to create a cuddly, quality finish that is built to last which will for the lucky recipient act as a constant reminder of your generosity and love for years to come long after other toys have been and gone. It can be made even more special and personal by having the personalisation of a name or date on the beautiful gift.
Each toy is unique, British made and a trusted friend making it ideal for any gifting occasion such as a christening, new baby, birthday, Christmas, Easter or anniversary present and are not just for children!
Choose from a range of colours: Grey girl with light pink skirt, Grey boy with light blue shorts, Grey girl with light blue skirt, Grey girl with red skirt, Purple girl with lilac skirt, Grey boy with dark green shorts, Brown boy green shorts. Girl shrews have hand embroidered daisies on their skirts.
As an optional extra, the name of your loved one big or small can be embroidered on the shrew’s waistband for that unique present. Please enter the name you would like to be embroidered (8 letters max).
To make your shrew even more special, a personalised scroll can be written and sent with the toy. Please see the image showing how the scroll will be personalised and please enter your name and the name of the recipient if you have selected the scroll option.
Shrews are wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon, bubble wrap and sent tracked post in a tough postal bag.
The lambswool wool for the shrews comes from Hinchliffe Yarns, Denby dale, Yorkshire. i then softly felt the wool to create a cuddly, quality finish that is built to last.
Sponge clean or dry clean. These shrews are tested to the highest standards, suitable from birth and CE marked. If over time the wool becomes a bit 'bobbly' shave gently with a safety razor, don't shave over the stitching!
