The handprint is artworked from one you provide, and engraved into a cedar veneered wood. This is accompanied by a line of text; either the child's name or a short phrase, eg. 'Ava's First Christmas'.
Variations
Made to order using the handprint that you provide.
To do this, please make a paint handprint with your child. Try to use a dark colour paint, like black or brown, on clean white unruled paper, as this will show up the most detail. We can almost always work with hand or foot prints that have been given to you by hospital too.
Then just upload a scan or clear photograph of this to us. To do this, go the 'my notonthehighstreet.com' section and click on the 'my orders tab'. Then click on the 'order enquiry' button on the bottom right-hand corner of your order details. Click on 'choose file' to upload your image and press submit.
If you need any help at all with uploading an image, please call notonthehighstreet customer services on 0203 318 5115 and they can assist.

Our unique hand print Christmas tree ornaments are made from sustainably sourced cedar veneer and finished with a white satin ribbon for hanging.
We've found a great and sustainably sourced wood veneer for this personalised decoration from some wonderful timber merchants practically on our doorstep. It means we can keep our carbon footprint low which is really important to us. The Christmas decoration is finished with some white satin ribbon so is ready to hang on your tree.
As a natural product, there may be some variations in the colour and texture of the wood, including thinner or thicker growth patterns from the tree and the odd knot or burr in the wood. This is what makes natural wood so beautiful and is part of the product, not a flaw.
