The constellation of Cetus the Whale is the fourth largest constellation in the sky and was first catalogued by Ptolemy in the 2nd Century. Rather fittingly, Cetus sits in an area of the sky known as the "water" along with other constellations with a watery theme including Aquarius and Pisces. The stars of Cetus are faithfully recreated in this gorgeous Christmas decoration.

We've found a great and sustainably sourced veneered cherry wood for this personalised decoration from some wonderful timber merchants practically on our doorstep. It means we can keep our carbon footprint low which is really important to us. We then engrave the constellation on a silver or bronze metallic acrylic and layer this on top of the wood. The Christmas decoration is finished with some RED satin ribbon so is ready to hang on your tree.

As a natural product, there may be some variations in the colour and texture of the wood, including thinner or thicker growth patterns from the tree and the odd knot or burr in the wood. This is what makes natural wood so beautiful and is part of the product, not a flaw.
