Lepidoptera (n) - an order of insects that comprises the butterflies and moths.

Inspired by antiquarian butterfly collections - taking care to record and preserve everything from giant Amazonian blue morpho butterflies to the humble cabbage white. Each butterfly has been hand painted in watercolour by London-based designer Maddie Chambers before being digitally printed in the UK onto a luxurious lightweight silk satin and finished with a subtle pin hem.
