Miller’s extraordinary range of ceramic work is all based, conceptualised and designed from her home.
Restoring new life into forgotten and discarded ceramics and drawing on personal memory, Miller sources materials from her heritage and history relating back to her childhood home. Working with a master Kilner based in Stoke-on-Trent, the historical home of Britain’s ceramics industry, Miller’s detailing and intuitive gestures are transferred by hand onto the fine bone china. They are then re-fired transforming them into contemporary timeless pieces.
Miller's range has been received with great acclaim from magazines, newspapers and online, including the Guardian and The Financial Times. Some designs you may find to be playful, quirky and surreal while others have an old world, traditional and nostalgic feel but all her pieces are design savvy.
Some products are made to order and are always delivered with care. One comment left by a Not On the High Street customer said "Arrived fine, and it's lovely.
