Hello! I'm Alice, Owner and chief elf at Alice Cook Designs.I'm making it my mission to provide fun and practical clothes for children, without all this pink for girls, blue for boys silliness!

I have always loved sewing. For me sewing was an escape, and then during my final term of university, I discovered I was pregnant. Charlotte Rose was born January 2013 and she is now the cheekiest, giggliest, muckiest adventurer i have ever met. I am a very lucky mummy.But do you know what? She doesn't like pink. Not surprising really as i'm very much a jeans and t-shirt type but my gorgeous girl has decided that in her little toddler world, yellow is the best. But it is SO DIFFICULT to find non pink girls clothes on the high street. So i thought, well, I can sew, lets make a few bits and see how it goes...
