Heron Watercolour Art Blank Greeting Card

A beautifully illustrated Heron watercolour art card, part of Alexia's Collective Nouns range.

On the reverse of the card are a collection of fun facts all about herons.The collective noun for a group of Herons is a 'Siege of Herons'. Alexia has illustrated multiple herons in many different ways to show them at their best. Herons are a beautiful, regal bird and Alexia hopes to show their wonderful colours off in this watercolour artwork.

This 'Siege of Herons' print is the first in a series of 12 collective noun artworks.

Hand painted by Alexia in her UK countryside studio, she uses watercolours and pencil to create this work. All the illustrations have been carefully and thoughtfully composed before painting, so that they fit together in a fluid way. There has been no digital painting for this piece, it is painted traditionally.
