Green Japanese woodblock print, with an abstract pattern that looks like... Harry Potter has bewitched a batch of cricket bats.
This is a rare fun-looking Japanese art print that would make a unique gift for a wizarding cricket-lover. Not many gifts fit this combination!
The artwork is roughly a5 in size and would suit an office, man cave or studio best.
The picture is hand printed with a warm green background and Prussian blue, purple, pink, yellow and brown striped bats, some detailed with gold ink.
The intention of the designer, with it being originally printed in the early 1900s and reprinted in Japan in the 1960s was not of course to depict Harry Potter's sports cupboard... an imaginative modern perspecive makes this picture quite fun.
Choose to have this art print arrive in three ways, as is, simply a piece of paper; mounted (sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 " / 25.4 x 20.3 cms frame) or framed. The black and gold frame pictured is made from responsibly sourced timber with real glass from Dunhelm.
Advice for hanging: original artwork should not be hung above radiators / heat sources, nor in damp or steamy rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms or conservatories.
