Personalised Pearls Of Wisdom Necklace

We all have quotes or sayings that we live by. Sometimes, there is an aphorism that has been handed down from generation to generation; a personal pearl of wisdom.

The design for this pedant evolved from a phrase that my Mother used to say to me as a child. One day I found myself telling my children that very same phrase; 'If a job's worth doing, it's worth doing well'.

This design allows for the engraving of your own 'pearl of wisdom'.

You could choose to engrave a favourite family saying, a line from a poem or a song lyric. Alternatively you could choose to engrave dates, times and locations of important personal events. The engraving is inscribed on the outer surface of the 25mm diameter sterling silver band in a private and discrete way.

Engrave the words that you live by and wear it yourself or use the pendant as a gift to express your gratitude and thanks to the generation that came before you.

The sterling silver band starts as a blank canvas for your own words. The images of the necklace show possible engraving options. Click through the images to see engraving examples to help you chosen your text style, and then use the drop down menus to design your own composition.

You can choose between a modern or a traditional style of text.

The characters that can be engraved include all uppercase and lower case letters and numbers including ampersands and dots or dashes to separate dates or times. Any spaces in your text should also be counted as a character, for example, ABC DEF is 7 'characters'.

Each pendant is made with one 5mm pearl. Additional single 5mm pearls can be added. You can also choose to add a strand of coloured 4mm pearls. The number and colour of pearls can be altered to suit and may be used to represent number of children, grandchildren or just for visual effect.

The white pearls are spherical. The coloured pearls vary in shape and tone.

The length and thickness of the chain can be altered to suit your personal preference.
