Vermeil - This is Sterling Silver that has been plated with a durable 2.5 microns of 18ct yellow gold. A little care and attention should be taken to protect your Vermeil jewellery. Remove before showering and swimming. Avoid exposure to household chemicals, perfumes, hairspray and cosmetics as these can cause discolouration when they come into contact with jewellery - It is recommended to put jewellery on last. It is advisable to store your jewellery items in a box so they do not touch or scratch each other.
