Elephant Cushion In Knitted Lambswool

This knitted lambswool Elephant cushion features an elephant wearing an indian patterned saddle cloth. I was inspired by similar elephant images from the picture card games of my childhood in the 1970’s.

I like to add a small motif on the back of my cushions and this one features an Indian flower design.

I’ve enjoyed working on this design and carried it across into a 3 dimensional Elephant and also as a repeat pattern on a cotton baby blanket.

Designed and made in my studio in Norfolk using soft 100% lambswool yarn which is knitted, then washed to become slightly felted for a luxurious feel, it has a green zip fastening and is stuffed with a duck feather cushion pad. Can be used as a cushion or pillow on your favourite chair, or to decorate a bed.

Colour; Charcoal Grey and White

Care; Hand wash cover as you would a jumper, remove any marks as soon as possible with cool water.
