These hand-shaped and finished wooden boxes are made entirely in England and personalised to order.
We carve the personalised design into the lid and then whiten it so it really stands out. Does your mum deserve one?
Variations
We will carve the lid of the box with “Best Mum to” you get to choose who the lucky recipient is “best mum to” is it you?
The carved letters will then be “whitened” using our unique processes to highlight the lettering, it will look amazing.

Sides constructed from 9mm Scandinavian birch faced ply
The base and hinged lid is 4mm birch ply
Two brass hinges and metal clasp on each box
Each box is skilfully aged and finished by hand and personalised in our workshops in Hertfordshire, England
The inside of the box matches the outside, however we do not sand the inside so it may have rough patches. Due to this it can pick up more of the wax in areas giving a patchy look.
Your choice of personalisation will be carved into the lid as shown in the photography and then hand painted in white to highlight the design.
Exact colour and patina/ grain on your box will vary depending on the batch of wood and differences in the hand finishing.
