To prolong the finish on your jewellery we advise not to expose it to water, perfume, chlorine, cosmetics and body lotions as silver is liable to tarnish. Humidity and body oils, particularly during the warmer months, may also cause discolouration of silver. We suggest you remove your jewellery each evening and wipe lightly with a silver jeweller’s cloth and pop into an airtight container.

Please note the black finish used on the stamp impressions should last a long time as long as you do not expose it to any of the elements above. Water in particular will wash the paste away really quickly, but we do understand that some people like to wear their rings every day. If you cannot keep your ring away from water a little trick you can do at home is to use a permanent marker to colour in the letters or pattern and wipe the excess away. The marker will stay in grooves and you will have your black finish again.
