A delicate tulip handcut from sterling silver and embossed with a wonderfully tactile flower texture, a smaller version of the original Watercolour tulip.
The petals have a simple design cut into them, through which your clothes will add a pop of contrasting colour, and the pendant is finished with a sterling silver trace chain. The chain can be closed at 16", 17" or 18" to suit the neckline of your clothing.
Each design in the Watercolour Collection originates from my watercolour and pen-and-ink sketches, and the process of their creation is a mix of traditional and modern techniques. Sketches are put into repeat patterns on the computer and then laser engraved into card, creating a deep texture.
Silver sheet is then passed with the engraved card through a rolling mill, a traditional item in any jeweller's studio, and the deep pattern embosses the silver. As each pendant uses a slightly different part of the pattern no two pieces of jewellery are ever the same.
Matching earrings, cuff bracelets and other pendants with the same flower design are also available.
