Mountain Glacier Original Painting, Mixed Media

Mointain Glacier is an origanal piece of artwork in mixed media.

This striking piece of art work was inspired by the Norweigan mountains and fjords. it was done in mixed media, with paint thickly applied to capture the essence of the mountainoeous terrain.

Artistic license was used to paint a Heron bird with it's new hatchling amoungst the majestic mountains to recreate a vulnearabilty within the mighty, breath taking moungtain and glacier.

The Heron bird has also been long associated with good luck.

I use a high quality cotton canvas for my oil paintings which is acid free and durable. It is called a box canvas or 'deep edge' canvas meaning it is wide at the edges and does not need to be framed. The sides are painted blue givng it a modern contemporary look.

All art is sold ready to hang and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is signed by me. This can act as a Provenance for any future resale of the painting.
