Solid oak, custom made and laser-engraved with your wording front and back. What could be more appropriate for a teacher than a classic school ruler?
Its often a puzzle what to buy for an end of term school gift, for a classroom assistant, teacher or trainer - if you want something more original, personal and practical than chocolates or flowers, we think we can help...
The most popular style is along the lines of 'Mrs Jackson Rules!' with a more expressive message on the back. But we have also had requests for 'Hands off - this belongs to teacher!' and the very practical 'Do not remove from Classroom A'!
All we can advise is to check your grammar and spelling very carefully...
The feedback we get is that these rulers are a fun and original way to send a message or express a sentiment to someone - and they are also a very practical item to have around the home or office.
You have a choice of fonts (one of our photos shows the font options), and no limit on the number of characters on the front (although the longer the message, the smaller the letter size). You can also select the option to add three further lines of engraving on the back, if you would like more space to express yourself.
Made to order in our workshops in the north west UK, each ruler is cut and finished individually. Each engraving is set up by hand, with care and attention, for the very best results.
The laser engraving is a very clean and neat process, and it won't degrade because it burns down into the wood. We fine-sand the edges and corners so they are very comfortable in use.

Our rulers are made from solid natural oak. They are very hard wearing and will look better and better the more use they get - there's nothing like a bit of patina on a well-loved object to cherish in future. Unlike some of our other products, we don't coat these with danish oil, as they are handled so often, and it is not needed for protection. They are suitable for use by children however they are not toys.

The rulers are approx 31cm long, 4cm wide and 5mm thick, and are very light. Please note any accessories in the photos aren't included.
