A custom watercolour illustration of your pet, digitally combined with your chosen background scene to create a beautiful and memorable print. Custom portraits are available for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other small animals.
The process is simple:
1. Select from the available background scenes: beach, lakeside, garden, cliffside, and highland cow. These scenes have been carefully hand-painted in watercolors and are ready to be digitally combined with your custom pet illustration to create a print.
2. Send a high-quality photo of your pet(s). Please note that your pet(s) are typically painted exactly as they appear in the photograph you provide. For best results, choose an image taken at eye level (rather than from above), as this gives the most accurate perspective. Your pet will be illustrated in the same pose as shown in your photo, so do keep this in mind when selecting your image. If you have multiple photos, feel free to send them through.
3. Your pet is hand-painted using watercolours. A unique illustration is created based on your chosen photo, capturing your pet’s character and charm in watercolour.
4. The painting is then carefully edited. The painting of your pet is scanned in and your pet is digitally added within your chosen scene and their name is added within the floating banner at the top of the portrait (if applicable).
5. A photograph of the artwork will be sent to you for approval. This gives you the opportunity to request any minor changes (if necessary and possible) before the artwork is printed.
6. The illustration is professionally printed and securely packaged in a hard-backed envelope to ensure safe delivery.
