Being a handmade print, the print quality of this botanical artwork is exquisite to see close-up. The leaves are printed with a pale sage green outline, making the contrast between the pale blue background softer. The edges of the pink petals are printed in silver ink and there are nine silver dewdrops on the leaves and pink stem.
It's a truly beautiful leaf/flower print to have on your wall and would look great in a little nook - the print being roughly a5 in size. As this work of art is nice to look at close-up it would hang particularly well in small space, such as a hall, landing, stairway, WC or ofiice/studio.
The floral / leaf / botanical print is quite cheering to look at and would suit someone who likes flowers or gardening, who likes to own pictures that are uplifting to one's mood.
The art print is a reprint, printed in Japan in the 1960s. The artwork was originally designed in the early 1900s by a master Japanese printmaker / designer for a design magazine showcase.
