Beautiful botanical Japanese woodblock print made with peach, white, gold, green and pale maroon ink. Embue your wall with this wonderfully warm-toned leaf artwork.
This simply designed art print has a high quality delicate finish, you can see the subtle shine of the gold ink and the places where the pale maroon ink has been pressed into the paper.
It is a rare, roughly a5 in size and would look lovely in an alcove, stairway, hall or landing, bedroom or lounge. It gives a warm glow because of the yellow tone of the peach and the opacity of the ink finish and has a feel of far-off places - you wonder what would be behind if you pushed through the leaves. Quite mysterious and secret garden-esque.
The art print was reprinted in Japan in the 1960s and originally printed in the early 1900s.
Choose to have this art print arrive in three ways, as is, simply a piece of paper; mounted (sized to fit a standard 8 x 10 " / 25.4 x 20.3 cms frame) or framed. The black and gold frame pictured is made from responsibly sourced timber with real glass from Dunhelm.
Advice for hanging: original artwork should not be hung above radiators / heat sources, nor in damp or steamy rooms such as kitchens, bathrooms or conservatories.
