One of a kind handmade glass feather necklace based on my sculpture Homing
Christmas can be a hard time for some people, especially if they have lost one of their loved ones. These glass feathers honour the person, the loss, and the ephemerality of life. They are a poetic, sensitive way to say how much you care, a bereavement gift of compassion and acknowlegment. Hand made from borosilicate glass, each one is unique. Sandblasted on one side, they have an ethereal quality. Each feather comes on a high quality 1.2mm 18" sterling silver snake chain. They vary slightly in size from 10-12cm long by 3cm wide by 1.5-2cm deep. (4-4.5"x1"x0.5-0.75")
