Antique Sculptors Workbench Owned By John Mills

A real opportunity for someone to not only own a beautifully original and highly usable piece, but a piece of history too.Owned by renowned sculptor,the late John Mills, this desk resided in his studio where he would sit over decades creating his beautiful pieces. We have spent some lovely time at the family home with his daughter Angela who has told us of many memories and stories of him working at this desk on numerous projects,from sittings with Brian May from Queen, to creating highly detailed heads often from memory alone. The desk sits on an oak frame and comes in two parts for easy access. There is a naturally shaped piece of wood that serves as a foot rest to the base.
