Botanical Illustration Card - Rosmarius Officinalis - Rosemary
Inspired by botanical field notes and vintage apothecary style.
These cards would make a lovely gift. A great set to keep on hand for emergencies too for nearly missed birthdays, engagements, regrets, weddings, or my favourite - just to say "hello".
Eight designs, each with a 100% recycled brown ribbed envelope.
All cards are printed in house (trimmed and folded by my own loving hands) on thoughtfully selected 100% recycled card stock.
We love Rosemary and grow our own (alongside our lavender). Not only does it smell wonderful but is great for drying and cooking (mmmm, stuffing!) and has such beautiful delicate blue flowers. Rosemary is native to the Mediterranean region but grows well mostly everywhere. The name "rosemary" derives from the Latin for "dew" (ros) and "sea" (marinus), or "dew of the sea". Rosemary was considered sacred to ancient Egyptians, Romans and Greeks. In the Middle Ages, rosemary was associated with wedding ceremonies and the bride would wear a rosemary headpiece and the groom and wedding guests would all wear a sprig of rosemary.
Greetings (folded card) A6 - 10.5cm wide x 14.85cm high.
Blank for your own words.
Printed trimmed and packaged in house on 100% recycled card stock teamed with a 100% recycled brown ribbed envelope.
