Tanya Paget is the designer and owner of Albaquirky. The brand name is a play on her Scottish roots (Alba) and her design style (quirky). She lives in the Chiltern Hills and designs from the home studio in her cottage. She has a Fine Art background and her work shows her love of mark-making and a bold use of line and shape.

She travels regularly and always has a pen and paper or camera at the ready to capture inspiration from her environment. She says she is interested in exploring the visual space where urban and rural aesthetics meet.

She likes the saying that 'the straight line, is not always the right line' and she's not afraid to use a bold edgy line!
