A practical woodworking course suitable for students of all abilities. Work at your own pace in Finbarr’s wonderful green-roofed workshop.
The course takes students through the process of creating a beautiful side table from hardwood timber. You will use a combination of hand tools and machinery, and learn the best way to measure, mark and cut the joints for this piece of furniture. All materials and tools are provided, and each student will have bench space with a vice.
Your qualified and experienced teacher, Finbarr Lucas, will share with you the knowledge he has gained from 25 years of furniture-making to help you achieve fantastic results in just three days.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
This price is for one person and includes includes tea and coffee, and home-made treats.
This is an experience for adults.
The course takes 3 full days. Each day starts at 10am, and should finish around 5pm.
Courses run throughout the year.
This is a popular experience which needs booking well in advance of the voucher expiry date to ensure you get your preferred dates.
