This is our luxurious handmade heavy duty wooden house sign with a live edge, which means the natural waney edge of the tree. The natural edge is a beautiful feature of these solid oak house signs, that runs the full length of the sign plaque, giving the signs a stunning organic and rustic feel.

These live edge oak house signs are created from hand selected Superior Grade English Oak and made to considerable thickness. We spare no expense when it comes to these beautiful wooden signs. If you want something that is of superior quality, made with exceptional attention to detail, to a truly stunning flawless finish, you will not be disappointed. These really are the finest and mightiest wooden house signs available on the market. All our standing house signs come already assembled, using traditional joiner techniques, making them extremely hardwearing. There is nothing to do to the sign except get it in the ground.

Sizes:

We offer 2 sizes, small and large, giving you the flexibility of having your house name on 1 or over 2 lines if required. Either size sign can then be fitted with 1 or 2 solid oak posts which allow you to customise your sign to suit your requirements.

The sign plaque itself is made from solid oak and mounted on huge 8cm thick x 1 meter long posts, so there is plenty of timber to bury into the ground and to keep them very sturdy once in place.

The length of the sign plaques will vary due to the amount of lettering that is required. Anywhere between 50cm and 1 meter depending on how many characters there are. We will always allow plenty of room either side of your lettering to give your house sign a well proportioned look.

Post Length:

Choose a post length of 60cm tall - up to - 1.2 metres tall. These posts sizes are the total height, include what you will need to put into the ground and also the area where the sign is mounted.

Finish:

All of our sign engraving can be left plain or paint filled with either Black, White or Grey weather proof paints. We then seal the timber with water resistant, Liberon Superior Danish Oil as standard, this finish will require regular upkeep. However, if you would prefer a low maintenance finish, we also offer our Diamond Coating finish as an optional extra.
