2.8mm thick Italian full grain leather which has a matt finish and a resin backing.
After it's been cut, beveled, burnished and waxed, it's pieced together using solid brass hardware and rivets that we've sourced from one of Englands last remaining foundires.
Leather is a natural material so you may find the surface shows some minor variations in colour or even the occasional small imperfection.
CARE GUIDE
To keep your leather dog collar looking great for years to come, we suggest that from time to time, you apply a little leather wax to help preserve and protect the collar.This wax will add a water-resistant barrier, but we advise against saturating the collar in water as this could cause the collar to lose its supple quality and turn brittle.Should your collar or lead become soaked, they should be allowed to dry naturally and then treated with leather feed to keep the leather supple and well-nourished.
Please note, as this collar has been naturally dyed we advise against purchasing this collar for white, or light coloured dogs as the dye may run if the collar becomes saturated. If the collar does become wet whilst on a walk you'll need to allow the collar to dry naturally before reusing.
