The container is a traditional wooden barrel, crafted from high-quality, sustainably sourced timber. The wood features a rich, textured grain that has been finished to withstand the elements, ensuring it remains a staple of your garden décor for seasons to come. To enhance its rustic appeal and structural integrity, the barrel is fitted with classic black metal banding and decorative studs, mimicking the look of vintage whiskey barrels. The 30cm Seasonal Planted Wooden Barrel is designed to make a significant visual impact without overwhelming smaller outdoor spaces. The wooden barrel has a diameter of approximately 30cm at its widest point, providing a generous area for the root systems to thrive. The height of the wooden container itself is approximately 20–25cm.
When including the height of the central decorative Conifer and the blooming Primulas, the total vertical height of the display reaches roughly 40–45cm. The trailing Ivy will eventually spill over the sides, adding width and a sense of lushness to the arrangement.
