About

Before this, I spent over a decade running The Letter Loft, a creative business making wire and floral home and event décor. Today, I focus on collections for licensing, collaborations, and product design - creating digital artwork for use across homeware, textiles, stationery and lifestyle products. When I’m not drawing, I’m usually out exploring with my beagle, Digby. I’m a full-time vanlifer, moving through different places and building ideas as I go. This next chapter is about freedom, creativity and a more intentional way of living - and I’m seeing where it leads.

Feeling like it was the beginning of a new era for me as newlywed in 2012, I began thinking of ways to leave the hospitality industry I had been in for a decade. I was inspired by my DIY wedding and with an encouraging nudge from my new husband I launched The Moss Letter Company in 2013, making moss covered letters for weddings and events.

Dad came on board in 2014 and we expanded the range to other letter-y goods and wire work and changed our name to The Letter Loft. For ten happy years we have worked together making botanical and industrial personalised cake toppers, wreaths and wall art.

In 2024 Dad retired from (99%) of the business and feeling like it was a great time to bring a fresh lease of life into what I have built, my new brand Jodie Simone was born. Highlighting the things that I love today; gardening, cooking, home styling, growing and drying flowers, Jodie Simone is a curated mix of my own work and the wonderful creations of other makers.
