The tweed is made using traditional methods, in short runs on the Isle of Lewis, and the whole process of the cloth's production is in the hands of skilled and experienced artisans from beginning to end. To get the status as Harris Tweed, it must be made from pure virgin wool which has been dyed and spun on the islands and handwoven at the home of the weaver- how cool is that?!
The bow tie is hand made in Devon and designed with two elasticated loops on the back to prevent it from tipping forward when on the collar. Due to the elastic, the bow tie simply slides onto any collar for a stylish and sophisticated look.
