Remember life’s treasured moments with specially-made gifts from the English countryside
Working from our barn in Gloucestershire, The Bespoke Workshop makes unique, thoughtful gifts and decorations. They’re perfect for creating a sense of togetherness between you and those you love, whether you’re nearby or far apart.
Head Maker at the Workshop, Scarlett, is a creative at heart - a former Fashion graduate who once worked as a buyer for a lifestyle company. Frustrated by the disposable, generic nature of the gifts there and with a yearning to head back to her country roots, she was drawn to produce something more meaningful.
Back at the start of 2017, Scarlett bought her first laser machine and launched The Bespoke Workshop, with the aim to create thoughtful keepsakes that preserve a treasured time in one’s life. Fast-forward four years, we now have a fantastic team of five, four laser engraving machines (!) and thousands of customers all over the world who love our quirky, family-focused gifts.
Family is at the heart of all that we make
Our designs are inspired by the love of family, friends and relationships, but also the English countryside that surrounds us. Our workshop is in a rustic barn based near Stroud with wonderful views of the River Severn; every year hundreds of migrating swallows nest in the barns around us. We even have friendly horses coming up to say hello.
Each of our lovingly made, personalised gifts are made to order and finished by hand. There is nothing we love more than getting to know the story behind each order and thinking about the occasion as we create.
We are proud of our journey as a female-led small business who cares about our impact. Our wooden designs are made from FSC graded wood and are built to be treasured for years to come, and we donate all of our offcuts to local schools and craft clubs. We regularly make products in support of charities, donating the profits to good causes such as the Poppy Appeal, the NHS and the Captain Tom Foundation.
