The rainbow eucalyptus is normally grown in sunny climates across Indonesia and is moderately hardy as long as the temperatures do not go below around -10 degrees celsius. In the UK it will need to be protected for the first couple of winters. It likes a good amount of water and will grow quickly!

Once the plant reaches 3 years old it will start to show its characteristic rainbow coloured bark.
