I am Ruth and I produce lino prints from my studio in The Cotswolds , England. I am fascinated by all things natural, and enjoy collecting various treasures from the countryside and seaside. My prints are a celebration of the beautiful details in nature, and I like to capture their unique character in my prints. I enjoy producing repeat prints, and have been experimenting with producing fabric from my work. My prints always start from sketches taken from nature, I then transfer my design to a soft cut lino block, and then begin carving. I love the interesting marks produced by cutting lino, and I think they give the finished product movement and life.
