This statement, semi circle necklace is created from an original abstract painting to create the Limited Edition Range.
I create large abstract paintings, inspired by my immediate surroundings and environment. These large scale paintings are then partly destroyed to create a limited edition range of jewellery.
Small parts of the paintings are selected and mounted to laser cut wooden pendants before being sealed with a protective enamel finish.
This process creates completely unique and one off pieces of jewellery that cannot be replicated. The size of the paintings mean that around 20 pieces of jewellery can be created from each one.
This particular necklace is created from a painting titled Doa.
It is one of twenty necklaces created from the Doa series. Each necklace is slightly different due to the creative process.
Mounted on a laser cut, responsibly sourced birch wood pendant.
