Don't Send Card, Send Cake!
I love making memories, taking photos and baking cakes. Before the birth of the internet my family moved to Spain and my best friend and I kept in touch by writing to each other with good old-fashioned pen and paper! I used to look forward to receiving beautiful cards, selected by my friend with me in mind. The time spent finding the perfect card and writing to one another, then patiently waiting for the post to arrive was something I treasured.
My passion for baking began very young; thanks to a wonderful Jane Asher book my mum would use to lovingly create birthday cakes. Learning how to make a simple, yet delicious sponge cake was the best lesson I've ever had.
It was because of this that I decided to combine my memories of greetings cards with my love of baking. PostCake is an edible greetings card which can be sent for any occasion. A delicious cake especially designed to fit through a letterbox meaning there's a sweet surprise waiting for a special someone when they get home.
